Holidays will possibly be nothing if no activities planned well, such vacation or go for an adventure trips. Have you ever been participated in any adventure trips before? Well if you don’t, you better be now. The kind of trip will surely bring you a wonderful holidays for you, and your family.

Before planning ahead for an adventure trips, few things that need to be alert, depending no what kind of trips you are heading for. What will you bring along during the trip? List all them on a checklist of all items needed to aviod any problems during traveling. Do not ruin your trip by missing around important stuffs, which will turn your joy adventure into the most unwanted one.

Things such as bug repellent, sunscreen, tools, first aid kit should be all the time when going outdoor adventure. Preparation need to be set up at least 2 days before going on a vacation travel to your destination. This was needed to make sure that you are well ready with your jouney.

The next preparation is the map or simple briefing about your destination location, such as places to go around, and specific geograpical information may sometimes required the most. It is beter to bring gps along with you, preinstalled with the map of your destination location to aviod any problem during the safe journey.

Brighton is probably the ultimate family destination in the UK, and whatever your age, the hotels in Brighton will make your stay a truly memorable one. Brighton attracts around eight million visitors a year, and offers something for everyone, so you will never be short of something to do.

Brighton Pier opens at 10.00am every day, and is famous for its funfair and amusements. The fair is open from midday until 7.00pm and features a variety of rides that are suitable for children and families of all ages. For older ones there are thrills to be had, including the jaw-dropping Super Booster – described as the ultimate thrill ride – which is over 125 feet tall and features a 60mph drop! For amusements on the pier, look no further than The Palace of Fun, which has arcade games for all the family and some great prizes on offer. The Family Entertainment Centre also features arcade games, slot machines and a very family-friendly food-court.

The resort holds a Blue Flag Beach Award for cleanliness and quality of bathing water, making it an ideal destination for a family holiday, and visitors can rest assured that there are plenty of family-friendly hotels in Brighton.

The beach is a shingle-beach, although it does become sandy in places leading down to the sea. Along the seafront there are many more attractions, arcades and restaurants. A visit to Brighton Marina is a day out in itself, with shops, restaurants, cafes, and plenty to see and do, including the opportunity to take a sightseeing boat trip.

Another must-see is The Royal Pavilion. This is one of Brighton’s most famous landmarks and is centrally located, close to many of the popular attractions and hotels in Brighton. Families can take part in a number of entertaining and educational activities. These could include acting as a guest of King George IV, learning to write in hieroglyphics in the Ancient Egypt Galleries or visiting the wizard at the Toy Gallery. The Pavilion’s Families Programme also offers a range of interactive family activities including art workshops, storytelling and costume workshops.

Want to take a break? You just don’t have the time to take a full vacation. Think about a mini break or in other words a weekend getaway. The top ten places for a themed weekend break in the Norfolk, Virginia area of the United States.

The first place I would like to talk about is Norfolk, Virginia Norfolk can be a wonderful place for history buffs or couples in love. The only question is what do you want to do? The Freemason Inn is a wonderful place to combine both, located in the historic Freemason district of Norfolk. Each room features large four poster bed complete with 500 count sheets.

The next place is colonial Williamsburg. This place is over running with history and museums. Despite popular beliefs Williamsburg offers plenty of shopping and spas for the people that don’t want to immerse themselves in history. There is a variety of things here. Williamsburg even has an entire area devoted to children – making Williamsburg the perfect themed weekend break for families.

Another place nearby is Washington D.C. There are tons of touristy spots and memorials located throughout Washington D.C. The added bonus of D.C. is that there is plenty of free things enjoy town. For instance you can enjoy Saturday Morning at the National. The national theatre has a free performance series for the whole family on Saturday mornings. Then the Kennedy Centre has a free concert every night at 6 pm. Enjoy free things on your mini break and all you have to worry about paying for is your hotel and food.

For a quick summer getaway try Virginia Beach. It is clich? but for a family what can be more fun than spending a weekend making sand castles and enjoying the water. Sit down make a plan or come up with a theme for your getaway. If you have more than one child have sandcastle building contest or you can just dig clams and surf . Soak up the sun and after your weekend break go back to work looking bronzed and relaxed.

For the outdoorsy folks there is always Staunton, VA. A place found in the mountains. Camping, fishing and hiking around in the mountains can be a fun especially on a nice spring or fall day. They also offer winter tours or an adventure of winter on the farms. Staunton has plenty of beauty and nature to explore any time of year. Go have a nice themed weekend break in the mountains and enjoy a adventure vacation close to home.

Fairfax County in northern Virginia is a Mecca for shopping lovers. A new type of vacation can include a day at shopping at Tyson Corner. Then there is the large open air markets available make Fairfax a great place to enjoy a themed weekend break of just sleep and shopping. The close jaunt for Norfolk makes it a nice place to take your mini break.

Baltimore, Maryland may seem boring but with shopping or just a hotel and a mini break for you and your sweetie. This place can be a lovely getaway from Norfolk. For a train enthusiast Baltimore, Maryland can be a glorious place to enjoy a themed weekend break.

The first weekend in October is the time to drive to North Carolina and enjoy the seafood festival. Enjoy the festival and take a mini break from reality in Morehead City. Seafood loves will enjoy the free samples from local chefs that enjoy the sun at fresh air. A themed weekend break with the sea on your mind can be the refreshing break you need to keep you going for awhile.

Bristol Tennessee can be a quick out of the way place to have your mini break. Race fans can take in a Nascar race at the famous Bristol Motor Speedway. Take a look online and find when a race will be there plan a trip for that weekend. Be sure to plan ahead and you and all your motor heads can have a nice racing themed weekend break.

The last place I want to talk about is Lake Monticello, VA. A quiet little out of the way lake in central Virginia offers little cottage rentals for a weekend. You can watch the sunset on the deck of your cabin well sucking up the fresh air.

Norfolk can be a wonderful place to live and one of the bonuses of this mini breaks is that all of them are located just a short drive or train ride from Norfolk. Enjoy your themed weekend break by yourself or with loved ones just go have fun.
