English, continental & Maltese cuisine are served in almost all the restaurants in Malta. Fresh fish & Maltese rabbit would certainly be excellent choices and, as a rule, the price of a 3 course meal will still be cheaper than in the UK. Freshly prepared pizza as well as Chinese & Indian cuisine are to be found in most areas too. At the time of writing, there are still many Malta restaurants offering a very good 3 course meal with plenty of choice for around €10. It pays to shop around & as mentioned previously, don’t just stick to the seafront & busiest spots but instead try some of the places tucked away nearby.
